Please aim to arrive no more than 5 minutes before your scheduled appointment time appropriately prepared for your service. For lash services this means with clean/makeup-free eyes and lashes. Extra time spent cleaning your lashes will mean less time lashing. For spray tan services this means skin free of lotions and properly exfoliated. If you arrive after your scheduled appointment time, it may not be possible to extend the time available for your booked service; if your service is shortened due to your late arrival, you will still be charged the full cost of the service.
CHANGING YOUR APPOINTMENT
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to reschedule/cancel a booked appointment without penalty.
SICKNESS OR FAMILY EMERGENCY
If you, or another person in your household, has an infectious or contagious illness, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule your appointment for a later date. For your safety and that of staff and other clients, please do not come to your appointments sick. If it is assumed you are currently sick, your appointment may be cut short or canceled and rescheduled for when you are healthy again. After your first appointment, a one-time allowance of a last-minute reschedule will be permitted for sickness or family emergency. After that, the cancellation policy is in effect.
CHILDREN , PETS + ADDITIONAL GUESTS
For health and safety reasons, young children are not allowed at the studio. Your appointment is a time for you to disconnect and relax so we kindly ask that you make arrangements for your small children if you plan to be in the studio for an extended period of time.
An example of an extended stay would be 30 minutes or more.
A child who can sit alone and quietly while unsupervised may wait in the lobby/ waiting area while a parent is enjoying their service. If your child is disruptive or under the age of 10 years old, we will ask for you to reschedule your appointment and the late cancelation fee will be in effect.
Any other visitor will be asked to wait quietly in the lobby/ waiting area while the guest is enjoying their service. They are also welcome to visit Messengers Pizza downstairs or visit any of the other local shops that Downtown Nampa is home to.
Mindful Lash + Beauty has a firm no pet policy. This is vital for keeping the studio clean and for avoiding any health code violation.

CANCELLATION + NO SHOW
As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 72 and 24 hours either by text, email or both. If an appointment is canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment you will be charged 50% of your service cost. If the appointment is no-showed you will be charged 100% of the service cost. If this occurs on your first appointment you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your appointment and if you are able to do so within 7 days the fee will be deducted from your rescheduled appointment. After that, the cancellation fee is in effect. Mindful Lash + Beauty reserves the right to refuse service to any client after no showing or failing to pay their fees.
OTHER ARTISTS' WORK
If you currently have eyelash extensions on from another lash artist, there may be the possibility that your current extensions will need to be removed and put back on properly. Due to the unregulated nature of eyelash extension training, certifications and state board regulations, there are a lot of lash artists that have been improperly trained and at Mindful Lash + Beauty LLC, our priority is your natural lash health and eye safety. Thus, if you are coming in for a touch up from another lash artist, then you agree that your current extensions may need to be removed and a new full set will be applied at the appropriate full set price. This will be discussed and fully explained to you prior to any service being performed.
AFTER HOURS APPOINTMENTS
Certain circumstances and seasons may leave you in a panic to squeeze in after-hours appointment.a last minute appointment that is outside of our normal business hours. After hours appointments may be available on a case by case basis for an additional $30 fee. Please contact us directly to schedule an after hours appointment.
You are paying for artist time, product and other expenses used to provide you with a service. No refunds will be given for any reason on services or products. If you are unhappy with a service, you may contact us within 48 hours of your appointment to discuss your concerns and if a fix can be done to address your concerns, it will be done so with a complimentary 30 minute express touch up if it is at the fault of application or product. Any concerns addressed after 48 hours of your last appointment, or if you failed to follow the proper aftercare instructions, will be charged at full price for the service.
